COMOAA makes a positive difference in our community. There are many advantages to membership. In addition to many community service and advocacy opportunities we also offer a hearty camaraderie.

COMOAA sponsors a JROTC Scholarship program that makes a difference in the lives of our potential future leaders. We support the Oregon Veterans Home in the The Dalles with monetary contributions as well as donations via the Big Red Box. We support Central Oregon Veterans Outreach that provides services to homeless and at risk veterans in Central Oregon. We also participate in many local patriotic and civic functions conducted throughout each year.
MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA men and women who are serving or have served on active duty or in one of the National Guard or Reserve components as a commissioned or warrant officer in one of the United States uniformed services: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and Public Health.

NEW MEMBER INSTRUCTIONS
Eligibility: currently serving, or have served on active duty or in the reserves or National Guard as commissioned officer or warrant officer, in any of America’s uniformed services.

All new member applications must be reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors. Applications received will not be processed for approval until receipt of new member dues.
New Member Dues
Member dues are $25/annually. First year dues are $25 with an additional fee for new name tags. This fee is either $10 or $20 – depending on whether you are single or have a spouse. Accordingly, your dues will be either $35 or $45.
Payment Options:
US Postal Service: If you mail your completed application to COMOAA, you should include a personal check for $35 or $45 made out to COMOAA. You will be notified by email when your membership application has been received and approved. If you do not have an email address, you will be notified by USPS.

Online: Email your membership application to comoaa@outlook.com. After receiving a response that your application was received, you should then Pay your New Member Dues on-line with PayPal. Note: If you do not wish to pay on-line, you may pay by personal check sent to COMOAA (see address above).
PayPal Instructions: See below and select the number of name tags needed (1 or 2). Fill-in your full name in the space provided, click the “Pay Now” button and follow the prompts. Note: You do not have to be a PayPal member to use this function.

COMOAA is a chapter of the Military Officer’s Association of America. Membership in MOAA is not a prerequisite for membership in COMOAA. However, members are strongly encouraged to join National MOAA. Click “Why Join MOAA” for more information and membership applications.

These pages include the current SITREP, member directory, member email list, BOD meeting minutes, annual operating budget, member annual dues payment options and important downloadable documents.
